Parks in Newnan, Georgia

Carl Miller Park

Carl Miller Park offers 14 tree-shaded acres to enjoy. The park offers plenty of parking and along with activities to enjoy for the whole family including:

• A 2,400 square foot splash fountain
• A 6 or 10-mile walking/jogging trail
• Pavilions accommodating up to 150 people
• Picnic tables
• Preschool and elementary playgrounds

Park hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily April through October and 8 a.m to 7 p.m. November through March. Carl Miller Park is closed on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day

Lake Summergrove

Lake Summergrove offers a wide variety of activities for SummerGrove residents and guests. Visitors can enjoy fishing the private 100-acre lake, golfing the award-winning 18-hole golf course, playing tennis on one of the eight courts, or hike on over five miles of mulched and paved trails. Summergrove also hosts a number of swimming pools from the Jr. Olympic-sized pool and children’s pool in the Town Hall complex to the lazy river ride and tapestry pool on the east and west sides of SummerGrove respectively.
